The ongoing development of a world class manufacturing operation is at the heart of the company’s strategy to achieve further profitable growth. Delivering excellence in the whole supply chain, with particular emphasis on the performance of purchasing and material control, is critical to success. The Supply Chain Manager will lead their team and implement robust processes that ensure that the manufacturing operations are able to meet demanding output targets on time and within budget whilst meeting the company’s stringent quality standards. Full use needs to be made of a tiered, international supply base which includes products and components delivered from manufacturers in low cost countries. Operating within an established ERP business environment, the position calls for the ability to rapidly identify solutions to supply chain issues and deliver results. Proactive and involved, the person appointed to this high profile senior management role will achieve results by providing clear leadership at both a strategic and operational level. An excellent leader and motivator, your success will be determined by your ability to drive changes that enhance operational performance. Improving the effectiveness of supplier relations and materials management must focus on delivering better schedule adherence, reduced costs and improved quality.
