SENIOR ENGINEER TO MANAGE ELECTRO-MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT DESIGN AND APPLICATIONS. Our client is a highly successful company whose products are known internationally for their quality and high performance. Whilst the main engineering base is in Hampshire, the design / applications team also provide support to overseas factories and a worldwide customer base. The role of Senior Engineer embraces the management of both product design and applications engineering in this strongly customer focused business. The person appointed will work on both new application specific DC solenoid switch and contactor designs (up to 100 volts) and also review existing products to seek ways to enhance performance and reduce costs. Leading a small team, you will make a real contribution to the future success of the business through the application of your strong electro–mechanical design and project engineering skills. An experienced engineer with a practical, hands-on approach to design and a knowledge of CAD systems, you should ideally have worked on projects that call for the development of customer specific electro-mechanical products. Team leadership experience and excellent communications and customer facing skills should enable you to be successful and to progress to a more senior role in this growing company.
